When I was about 14, there was a local department store that had one of those EKO Florentine guitars.  I used to go in every Saturday and just stare at it lustfully...

The 60s was a time of innovation and bad taste.
I quite like some of the Teiscos. With a bit of work they can be made into pretty decent guitars.

When I was a kid, I'm sure that at least one or two of those were sold in Woolworth's!

Quantity over quality - I'd rather have one Teisco Spectrum V than a dozen little ones!

I used to have a teisco spectrum bass.  quality was better than other teiscos but it still had all the quirks you would expect
