Ah that answers my question then... I think. I wanted the timeline and mobius to come on both with one click. I am getting I will need a MIDI switcher after all.

I envy your MIDI skills and share your same suffering with mobile devices on here at the moment.

Whenever I get my Timeline I'm gonna get one of those MIDI mouse switchers. Just checked them out on YouTube. I feel this year is gonna be another expensive one ;)

Yeah despite selling a bit of gear I think I've just hit my 2014 GAS limit.

Just sent an email to Strymon cos I think you can save combinations of delay and modulation to a preset. Which would negate the use of a MIDI switcher of a sorts ;)

I'll get back to you soon

Ok. Heard back from Strymon. As long as you turn on MIDIPA to 'on' in the globals of the first unit in the chain it will send and receive MIDI signals. So it will save a combination of delay and modulation to a preset. However, this wouldn't work with a Strymon bluesky for example as that has 3 preset saving switches if you know what I mean. Timeline and möbius share the same preset switches :)

    Hope that's clear :)

  • Lol no problem. It means at least I can hold off from buying a switcher ;)

And here was me thinking I'd never fill the 200 patches.

  • Starting to come clear to me too why I would need so many presets ;)

I had to edit my reply. Just checked it out. Quite good now it has an LED display. Pricey though compared to the TECH21 MIDI Mouse
