Whose specialist subject is Patrick Eggle Guitars

just acquired a Berlin model with the serial number engraved on the jack socket - I know PE have had somewhat of a checkered history regarding ownership, but which era is this or any accurate way of dating it

Looks like the PE forum is down to gather info - any help appreciated - Thanks mark

    The serial number moved to the jack socket around 2000 when the current owner, Gordon Tilley, took over. I'm guessing it's in the 10,000s. Also unique to the later period in a stick on gold headstock logo with PatrickEggle all as one word, plus a slightly longer heel and pointier corners on the headstock...

    Thanks for that - yes gold foil style headstock logo - serial no is 10110 - I assumed it was a later model - Not to fussed about knowing the exact age, but as you know, when you come to sell such guitars, the customers want the full story - excellent - Mark
