Manor - six seconds faster per lap than last year, strip away 1.0s for tyres and another 1.0s for the cold temperatures and you have a 4 second improvement in raw pace not just with the Merc lump but a 2015 chassis instead of an old lash up. They certainly won't be circulating on their own 4 laps down on Sunday. May still be last.
Mclaren- they are fucked, they seem to think the laws of thermodynamics do not apply to them. I think they'll finish 10th in the WCC.
Renault- the engine is a vast improvement over last year's shitbox, the A-spec chassis may not be up to much but they'll catch the midfield hand over fist if the rumoured B-spec arrives in mid season.
Sauber- skint, undeveloped but may finish ahead of Mclaren.
Haas- essentially a 2015 Ferrari with a 2016 engine and all the extras, once they find their feet I think they'll be straight up to the midfield and may trouble STR/FI.

What a bunch of dicks
Vettel is a good place though with an extra set of tyres.

People watch qualifying to see who is fast this weekend, but primarily for that "can he beat the time set by......?" moment at the end of the session.
They replaced a few minutes of excitement at the end of the session, with no excitement for the whole session.
Literally farcical. I mean did they not simulate it or think to test it somewhere first? Highly arrogant but no surprise there....
