My trading feedback thread
One told me the train I was just on was the next one going back... So got on to find my wallet - guard explains that it's not the same train at all (after it left) so I ended up going back to the start of my journey for no good reason.
OK... Ask at information desk. They won't even bother checking when the train might end up - because it's a hassle.
Other information desk staff give me the list property number.
10 minutes waiting on the phone to speak to someone and "we can't report lost items over the phone" ... Well why was I given this number?
They can't tell me where the train has gone, what number it was... Nothing. They can't contact the train or anyone who can contact it...
And they might not even look for it till Sunday.
That's on top of the 30 minutes delayed train because of the stupid blue flu
I feel absolutely great today.
Anything left on the train is gone

But it's out of Myranda's control, which is frustrating either way.

Cancel all the cards I can (some like Driving licence, NUS and Oyster have admin fees and I have no card now) and write off the cash and wallet.
All told £170 is a lot to lose in a day but I can't assume it's not going to be lost forever... Just suck it up and spend the next two weeks paying for today... Blah.

On the plus side it's been a fairly shitty summer... So at least ruined a great summer
Definitely something in the air today.....
Suffering with a shitty cold I drove 10 miles only to see my fuel light come on and realising that I had left my wallet at home, promptly did a u-turn returned home, got wallet, filled up and then sat on the M25 traffic for 60 miles to work, got in late and walked into a moanathon from a client, had a melt down and quit my job.
Oh well tomorrow will surely be better (hopefully)

left my wallet on the bus two days ago. Got off at Hammersmith and reported it at the bus station. Driver had already radioed it in and I picked it up at the bus station later that afternoon. Everyone involved was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Stick at it, make a few calls. You might just find the one helpful, friendly person who sorts it. Hope you find it.
I left my guitar and amp at the front of the house after a gig once. Fortunately is was still there in the morning, which was great but not a very good reflection on my gear.
