If you would like to buy smth from @Classic, please spare your time and nerves. I've transferred money on Oct 13th, and today, almost a month later, I've got my money back, only thanks to the paypal customer protection procedure. Although Anthony seemed like a reasonable person, when I've talked to him on Facebook (had to find him there by myself, as he won't respond to PM on thefreatboard), but that was it. Once I was told that the pedal was sent "yesterday", and then it was always "today" or tomorrow.

    Cheers!

  • @fdd have you notified @Jalapeno or @TTony or @digitalscream ?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • Thanks for the warning. Helpful to know. Shame because most people on here are great.

Lucky escape for me, I actually agreed to buy this off him near when he put it up for sale but I pulled out the last minute. Weird, he responded to my PMs just fine.

thanks for the tip - I'm not a regular here :) I've PM'ed Jalapeno. It's the first time I've had any problems buying online, thanks Paypal for the customer protection

This is where @classic posts with a perfectly reasonable explanation of what happened and how it's all a big misunderstanding ...
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.
