Im looking for a stand the will go along a wall and store all my guitars ...either in the cases or just the guitars...i have a room and they are just in cases on top of each other ...so i struggle when i want one from the bottom...just looking for a neat storage solution really but with easy access..

So you want to display 23 guitars?
i use the 7 guitar racks from gear4music.
    They were about 35 each

Well no ...more storage really and easy access...but iff it means taking them out of the cases and storing them on stands that would be as well....i just find a lot arnt getting played because they are awkward to access...
Them guitar stands seem handy though with 7 racks ..thanks :)

Be careful, the cheap stands, and even some of the expensive ones don't react well with certain finishes.

I personally prefer the case type stands, the Fender tweed ones if you're flush, or the Stagg ones if you're on a budget.

There's also http://stand-made.co.uk/ if you want something special.

Guitars should be stored upright in their cases, detuned half a step down.
If we are not ashamed to think it, we should not be ashamed to say it.

Yup, that's how I store mine (although I only have 10) - but why half a step down?  All mine are in standard tuning and I play most of them regularly.
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

Guitars should be stored at whatever pitch they're normally played in.

wall hangers, unless you are happy having them sideways in  a few of those  racks where the pots and pickups of each guitar is 1cm from the back of the next one

I used a 7 rack and it  was  just too  risky, especially  with bulkier guitars like semis

where did you get that from?
    I'm   certain that's wrong
Also very  much an obstacle to playing: every time you play you'd spend a few minutes repeatedly retuning whilst the wood catches up with the changed tension

Not even everyone agrees that a slight detensioning is required to  post  guitar
Cases exist to protect  a guitar during transport or adverse conditions
If  your room is always 22C and 45% humidity, there is no reason at all to keep it in  a case
I'd say it  was more natural for a guitar to be  uncased and have air around it
The re is also the massive issue of whether a cased guitar will get played as much

There is one more issue in a case: the strings being  pushed against the frets, causing  fret damage
I've only seen  protector strips in Anderson and Suhr cases

the other problem with storing  guitars in  their cases  is that they take up twice as much space

If you store the cases upright it will be far easier to select from.

I recommend the stand made wooden racks
    practical and lovely furniture too
if you must go store bought the best guitar racks for me are the k and n ones
well designed and small footprint nitro friendly and designed so guitars don't clang into each other

I used to keep mine in a wardrobe!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.
