Hope this is in the correct section been looking into these but the question i have is do i need to learn a whole bunch of new chords in order to use it thanks in advance

I've bought one, and 2 partial capos

Basically it gives you alternate tunings so standard chords won't work. When I use alt tunings I don't do chords anyway, I just feel my way around sounds to create compositions. I bought a spider capo but I never use it. It's less of a faff to just twist the machineheads to be honest. The tunings I use I can quickly change to by ear.
