I've been putting off this thread until I was sure I was keeping these two as it's been a journey to say the least! But I am really happy with both of these gems and they're keepers!

The 335 is the one I started a PSA thread on last week, I couldn't resist it! It arrived with an undisclosed cosmetic repair to one of the headstock tips, barely noticeable but frustrating nonetheless. I'm taking it to Damian Probett to tidy up.

The tele has the coolest crazing and play wear I've ever seen and it plays wonderfully. There were a few hiccups with this purchase as well but I won't go into all that here. Suffice to say it's staying and it sounds immense.

Phew... that's me spent out for a while! Now someone buy my '65 strat

I can't believe you bought the 335 without checking it over first?

Didn't want to fly to Edinburgh to check it out and the seller said any probs I could return it. He was true to his word and offered a refund but I opted for a partial refund instead. The guitar is too good to return.

  • It's an extremely small repair to one of the two 'moustache' tips.

The 335 was only in Edinburgh? Damn, why didn't I just pop down the road and have a look at it myself ...

*thinks about how much it cost*

Actually, I was probably better off staying well clear :P
