FS: Musicman USA Stingray 5 String Bass (PRICE DROP)

For sale is my trusty Musicman Stingray 5 String Bass. Made in the USA, with the original 3 band active preamp. There are a few dings from the road, but they are purely cosmetic and it still plays and sounds great. Only selling because the projects I played bass on have ended and I don’t foresee anymore in the near future. Comes with a Hiscox hard case (far better/tougher than the original musicman case),black gig bag, strap and an unopened set of Ernie Ball 5-String Bass strings. £900 £850 for the lot. Available to view in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Collection only. No trades as money has already been spent.... whoops!

    Just a little note that if anyone wants to come try this through an amp they will have to bring one with them (as I have just sold my only bass amp!) - I can demonstrate that it all works as it should quickly through one of my guitar amps but don't want to blow any of my speakers!

    @fretmeister the bass (strung up) weighs about 4.6 kg which is roughly 10lbs and 2oz. I think this is fairly typical for these after a quick google.

    That certainly is.

    I think I have one of the lightest - it's under 9lb. I'm looking for a back up of similar weight.
    I realise I might be looking for a long time!
