JJ 6v6 power and I quite like tungsol 12ax7 for pre. Phillips JAN 12at7 where needed.
I used Hotrox a long time ago and didn't have any problems but I know some on here have had problems. There are a few threads about it.
The other option is Watford Valves. He can be a prickly guy to deal with but he has a good selection (especially of older NOS stuff) and it's well tested. He's possibly guilty of a bit of snake oil on the cryo stuff, but it is plausible. My degree was in metallurgy and materials and I found some academic papers on the effects of cryo treatment when there was a debate on here. While it's plausible I'm not spending the money to find out whether it actually makes a difference.
I would recommend Karltone, or Langrex for NOS valves.
