NVGD: 1960 Les Paul Special
I picked this one up from Richard Henry on Friday, he posted it up the day before, and I knew I had to move quickly.
This is a real players guitar, lots of wear and battle scars, and a few modifications and changes. Importantly, the finish is original and it's had no breaks or repairs. After a clean and setup, it plays very well and sounds great.
I was just going to use it and play it as is, but it's such a great guitar that I think it deserves a proper new lease of life, so I have decided to send it to Yuuki McClure for a bit of TLC. He's going to tidy up the pickup routes, and a route under the guard and a few other bits and bobs. It's off on it's jollies tomorrow and should hopefully be back with me in a few weeks.

I think it's dead cool as is.
No, I'm keeping the humbuckers, so essentially it will look just the same, it's just the routing which needs sorting as each pickup ring can only be held down by two screws.
It's a very cool guitar and I can see it becoming my main squeeze.
