Hey you crazy cats!
After an Homeric Guitar Safari on Sunday I returned home having bagged Big (and heavy) Game. Courtesy of
@gitarman4 , ladies and djentlemen, I give you the Cornell Voyager 20.
Rare as hen's teeth: estimates of numbers in the wild range between about 8 and about 20, this was hand built by Mike himself in the company of others at Cornell, and has since been kept in damn near showroom perfect nick.
Sound-wise it's like a Deluxe that's eaten its spinach: more than a Blackface, almost nudging into what I imagine would be Lazy J territory when cranked. I really believe I may finally be flirting with the answer to the riddle of Perfect Tone that haunts us all. The build quality is unbelievably good. Add in some triode/pentode wizardry to switch between 5 and 20 watts, tube bias trem and reverb and a Kendrick speaker (not a make I'm familiar with, but I like it. A lot) and I think I've found my forever amp.
Some pictures of the guts of the thing if @gitarman4 doesn't mins me nicking his link at: https://photos.app.goo.gl/b8xKHvDRUBQIINda2

and my sister says you’re a callous bastard and she never wants to see you again
SO glad to meet someone who ‘gets it’.
See ya at psoriasis club
You’re very kind. I’m rather partial to it for now, until the next thing addles my faithless, fickle heart.
Thank you. Hope you’re ok re flipping the Flynn (sounds like quite the sexual practice)
Congratulations on a fantastic amp.
Play in the rudest of health.
