Probably other things wrong with it too but I can't spot anything wrong with the body or neck. Maybe fretboard should be darker?
I have to say though, I've seen much worse.
Things that could lose guitar manufacturers money, not so much.
Rickenbacker defends its name and trademark vigorously. Gibson is a bit distracted at the moment.
It also has an air of “cheap fake” about it in general, possibly in the way the finish shines in the pictures. It just doesn’t quite look like a nitro-finished Gibson
The fakers actually know very well what the details are - not because they read these forums but because all they need to do is get hold of a real Gibson and look at it.
But it isn't - currently - economically necessary to get everything right, so they don't bother.
