2006 Gibson SG Classic in Ebony
Next on the block is the SG Classic I picked up recently. Not many of them about in this colour.
This was a little neglected when I picked it up. I've oiled the fretboard with Geriltz, given it a good polish, cleaned the hardware and given it a good setup.
There are surface level scuffs, visible in certain lights, and a little mark on the top of the headstock. The worst of the scratching is on the back of the guitar, from where the previous owner had kept the strap on the guitar while storing it in the bag.
P90 pickups, fat 50's style neck, neck binding, dot inlays and inlayed Gibson logo, full gloss black finish.

Gibson Les Paul Special 2016 Japan Special Run - Excellent Condition *** sold ***
Recently bought here on the forum. Had some subtle changes made to bring it closer to vintage spec:
- Lightweight Faber Aluminium Tailpiece
- Steel Kluson Tailpiece Studs
- Oil City Firewatch P90s
- 50's wiring with Sprague Orange Drops
Pickups and wiring change were professionally done with a full setup.
The guitar is virtually unplayed and it's about time it had a good home. Ideally I would like to claw back my investment in the above plus my initial outlay, so I'll say £620. Can post at cost
Slim taper profile, lightweight, big sound!
Comes with original caps and zinc+brass tailpiece+studs
Supro Belmont Vibrato *** sold ***
This isn't the one I had issues with, I had it exchanged
Fun little guitar but again a skinny neck
It has taken a little knock on the headstock on a stage somewhere, don't remember it happening and only noticed when I came to take the photos. It is not visible from playing position. I have photographed this. The item is priced accordingly
£240 + post at cost

In the interest of transparency the BOM for the changes is:
Faber tailpiece: £39
Kluson studs: £12.45
Setup/pup swap/wiring conversion/sprague caps: £55
And I took a little hit on the pups. Still a bargain
