2 birthdays in one year . Thats harsh mate.
I believe that is what they now call DAD DANCING
I also cannot tolerate these silly made up modern names for things , militant Vegans, Americanised merged words like "Brangelina" or "Momager" ,"Brexit" etc etc or modern "made-up" so called "crimes" like calling somebody a name on the internet ........grow up
I am not interested in Transgender issues although I am a free thinker and wish them well ;I just don't think it is newsworthy
I am not interested in "Me too "........beyond the obvious crimes is the pathetic stampede of attention seekers .
Especially annoying is the attitude of younger people and millennials who think it's acceptable to be rude in their critique of older generations and their wisdom..........when I was young there were grumpy old gits in the office with lower qualifications but you bit your lip when they had a go at you out of respect for their age .It was called being brought up properly.
Far too much opinion and influence from young ,wet -behind -the-ears people who seem to think they are entitled to critique older generations.......just rude and ill-mannered with low moral value upbringing.
I'm not glad I'm old but I'm glad I come from a time when people had a bit more metal and gumption about them.

opportunity.....and never waste an early morning hard on. ! *ahem*
I’m 64. Feel 30 in my head. Feel 80 in the mornings.
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

I've got type 2 diabetes which upset me - a lot - when it was diagnosed eight years ago, but it's well under control and I don't worry about it at all any more. Somewhat plagued by IBS but I'm sure many have it worse. I had a frozen shoulder a couple of years ago but it went away on its own. I feel like my body's not as "springy" as it used to be but it doesn't cause any actual problems.
Other than that... still got my hair, no grey. Teeth OK. Not fat. Never spent a night in hospital. I don't have time to take enough exercise so I worry that'll hit me soon... but fingers crossed. Keep on trucking.
Literally and emotionally.
Just turned 64 but in my mind still in my 30's.
Had a quadruple by-pass at 48,right hip replaced last year and left hip to be replaced early next year. Hernia repaired this year. Wife and daughter forever yelling at me telling me I'm deaf (selective hearing I like to call it) knees and shoulders creaking.
Had no hair since my mid 20's but still miss it, own teeth that are in reasonable shape, the clippers I have to trim what hair I do have has a nose/ear attachment which is very useful and which I heartily recommend.
No chance of reading anything without glasses which is what I find most annoying.
A couple of years ago I bought myself a lovely old Mercedes E320 which I can practically fall into rather than have to try and prise myself into my wifes 2 seat convertible.
Your as old as you feel chaps, and what with a few pals passing away over the past couple of years bloody well enjoy it to the full while you can.
Physically.....
- Shortsightedness has developed over the past eight years. Longsighted excellent.
- Borderline type two diabetes
- The odd twinge in my left thumb joint which could be something to do with the neck shape on my guitar
- Nail fungus r/h big toe
- Mild thread varicose veins around ankle areas
- Frequent left ear ache linked to eustation tube issues exacerbated by in ear phones use
- False tooth front upper due to bone loss
- Hair thinning and medium baldness on crown
- Occasional sinus issues controlled with over counter medication
- About a stone and a half overweight
- Willy dribbles if I don't hang around and give a good shake
I have recently gone teetotal and don't smoke.
Fuck me, that was cathartic!
