I've not seen Chris in over 15 years but he was a Peterboroughian with deep roots there so I imagine he's still about.
He was a great character and an excellent piano player.
Man! Those were the days. The guys in the shop were the funniest bunch of chaps I've ever worked with. So many times I thought I would die laughing with some of the stuff that happened there. It would make great material for a comedy
@hywelg has us - just - both beat though
25 years ago I was working as a social worker for adults with learning disabilities and today I'm working as...a social worker for adults with learning disabilities. Although almost all the time in-between I've been doing something else.
Anyway have a good day @equalsql and all my best to both of you.
29 years together, 24 married this year for us. Plans for massive party next year thankfully cancelled due to the psychotic dog (good dog).
That used to be a large video rental store back in the 1980s. Music Live was started up by two local business men shortly after the Music Village branch closed in the early 90s. There also, back in the 80s, used to be a drum shop called Stix Music just further up the road next to the Salvation Army store.
That big guy sounds like an old customer of mine called Andy who used to run a cover band called: Too Hot To Sleep. He was a pretty wild looking individual.
I met Our Maud in 1974, and we got married in November 1975, so just passed the 43 years mark... No sign of her clearing off yet, thank goodness!
