Had been looking at these for a few months and finally took the plunge. It is one of the nicest guitars I’ve played. For reference, I’ve owned Fender Custom Shop, Gibson Custom Shop and a whole raft or others but this one is easily one of the nicest. I much prefer it to my ‘14 R8. The neck feels amazing and the whole guitar is very slick and sounds killer, especially on the neck pickup. Check it out:

Always loved the look of these. I like them more than the ES335.

I suspect Yamaha may be low on Gibson’s list of companies to go after! Beautiful guitar.

Think they'll struggle with that trade mark "micky mouse ears of the 335" comment they made.

    Stunning guitar.

Have an identical one to this for over two years now; great guitar, very versatile and as good build quality as any of my US core PRS.  Welcome to the club!

I've owned one of these and they are beautifully put together.  Great versatility with the coil taps too.  Congrats.
    No Darling....I've had that ages.

Very nice! I also have one and it is indeed superb. Took me a while to adjust to the size (I hadn't played a semi-acoustic before) but now "ordinary" electrics feel too small! Finding the right strap helped.

I picked one up a couple of weeks ago from a nice man in Leicester. I adore it.

A no-brainer. These SA guitars are so consistent in quality and great value. Is that the Violin burst? Enjoy!

I've got a metric shit ton of Yamahas. They're terrific. Good choice ;-)

You need an idea of what you are going to do, but it should be a vague idea.

    Heh, me too.

    SG3000, SA2200, SA2000S, NTX900FM, Pacifica 311MS, Pacifica 112V

I gigged the SA2200 and the 311MS tonight.

    Great guitars.

    Beautiful guitar!

I've always liked the look of the SAS1500, Yamaha's sort-of equivalent of the ES-339 or CS-336, with a smaller body than the SA.  Only available in Japan, though, I think.
