Excellent.
Took my young kids to a local RSPN event for the "great garden bird watch" a few months ago. They'd set up telescopes and all that looking out of the river in Leamington....a few ducks and that sort of thing then someone spotted a Peregrine sat up on top a church. Made everyone's day and really got my eldest lad (5) interested in birds of prey.
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
Quite a few kestrels near me.
But they can be out run by a pigeon in level flight.
I've loved Peregrines since I were a nipper, massive fan of birds of prey in general, but there's something about the Peregrines that is awesome. My parents and I went out to the Hawk Conservancy near Andover on a bank holiday weekend last year, the weather was perfect for the shows they put on. At one point they had a Peregrine out flying (first time I'd seen one in the flesh), they were planning to show off the stoop, but halfway through, a red kite (wild, but probably released from the Hawk Conservancy) decided it wanted a dogfight with the falcon. Thankfully no harm came to either bird, and they did manage to demonstrate the stoop, albeit a brief one, still crazy how fast they can dive.
The only pictures I could get of it, the bugger was facing the wrong way!
And here's a red kite.

Gear - Guitars, amps, effects and shizz. Edited for Phil_aka_Pip, who is allergic to big long lists.
At the other end of the wildlife spectrum we saw a few Mayflies too.
