I wanted to post this as it's a moment to stop and say 'WOAHH'...'THANKS' I have found my guitar family!
Not bragging here - grateful to be able to have these. Also have a Ukulele, Takamine dreadnought, Takamine G series cutaway and 1970s 12 string guitars at work.
I have said goodbye to lots over the last twelve years, and these are certainly keepers.
Strat from Peach guitars new, Epiphone from here s/hand, Gibson from Coda Music s/hand (Tis the best second hand guitar shop)
Thanks for all you who have purchased guitars from me and helped on this sound and guitar journey.
They are:
Fender CS Strat - 10th Year Peach Guitars anniversary. Roasted neck, 59 neck profile and Cruz pups like the ones used in the Gary Moore red Strat replicas. Deep and full sounding. Seems to keep it's tuning like no other.
Epiphone 1964 reissue Casino (USA made) - one of 1964 made - jangly and open sounding.
Gibson '59 ES335 in Vintage Natural (2017) - such a strong and tight sounding guitar
Yes, I would add a Jazzmaster in the long term, but funds and other priorities of life mean - long term!!
Happy guitar journeys to all....
Jon
