Neither, I'd grab the PRS MEQ.
My other passion is firearms! Does that make me a closet Redneck???

Grab the SG, the tele's tough enough to look after itself  ;)

    SG.

    Neither.
They are both easily replaceable and your exit from the building should not be delayed.

An actual vintage guitar might be considered hard to replace.

    Neither.

I'd dig their remains out of the ashes and sell them for 100% mark up as roadworn.

Any Tele that can't survive a house fire isn't a proper Tele.

Since this is a guitar forum surely the correct answer is both.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

I'd save the time of posting on here to ask people which one to save, and save them both.
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

If you run into a house fire to save a Gibson Lucille the ghost of B.B. King haunts you.

    Tele.
I'd use an SG to break down the door, even if it was unlocked.

  • Tele cos I don't like SG's.

If you tried to save the SG, you'd probably break the headstock on your exit from the building anyway so you may as well save the tele

I'd probably try to save my children from an horrific fiery death. If I had time after that, I'd go in for the Tele.

    Without playing them, SG.

    This is a good point.
If it was a chip pan fire,  there might be just enough time to check if Gibson have somehow  managed to make a very slim neck which is still too heavy for the body they have attached it to.

Neither. My mantra is passport, plastic, ‘phone. Not necessary in that order.

When it comes to guitars I’d still say neither. The least replaceable is probably my sister-in-law’s acoustic, and that’s for sentimental reasons. All other guitars, even my Parker Fly, are replaceable.
