Tele bridge pickup tone control?

What do you usually have yours set to? I see loads of demos and general YouTube vids on Teles and no one ever tells you what they have their bridge tone pup set to.

What's your default tone setting?

Around "7" if full on is "10". Same with just about any guitar bridge pickup tone control.

I have 4 Teles. 2 have Mojo Esquires, 1 has a Mojo Broadcaster and the other a Creamery Alt 88 A5 magnets.

One of the things I like about Tele controls is the lack of numbers. I find I actually use my ears for the best tone instead of thinking "bloody hell that's on 2!". Often makes me wonder if amps, pedals and guitars would be better off with no markings on them at all.

Re the bridge tone control, probably about 6 or 7 at a guess.

About 7 for me, and the volume rolled off a smidge.

Middle it initially, then adjust to taste depending on pedals and amp. No numbers, so just do it by feel - suspect I usually end up on 7ish, but may push it in either direction or even bypass it.

I prefer to play with the volume rather than tone. Tone is always full. I can darken it up if I want by dropping volume back
