I think this looks simple, but great.

Ahhh but not a Tele because of the six saddle bridge ( the lack of headstock & humbuckers being entirely irrelevant of course).
I dig it, kind of a more mature interpretation of the old Carvin Holdsworth model..

"The guitar’s scale length is 24.75”, propelling a beautiful, buttery tone and making bending more fluid."

Ruined it. Don't like it anymore.

@sgosden ; Without the extra string length that a headstock gives the strings can feel stiffer to bend. Dropping the scale length compensates for this.

The Hipshot string block he’s chosen means that he’s also had to use a wheel at the body end, rather than an Allen key, to adjust the truss rod.

Do I like the idea? If he’d used Tele pickups then yes. As it is There are so many changes that I don’t see why he’s used the Tele body shape

@Roland ; - the scale length isn't the issue. It's the use of Buttery tone

I treat every guitar as a seperate entity so It doesnt bother me .If it was light i can see potential but its an expensive way of getting round the headstock copyright

I thought the original stated intention behind going headless was more about removing the risk of the headstock having a resonant frequency that matched a note on the instrument which would cause a dead spot on the neck ?

No, really, although it looks like it might pertain more to basses which kind of makes sense as Ned designed basses before guitars

On reflection, I think that it's looks similar to a Carvin HH2

I hate all headless guitars ...to me they just look incomplete and wrong.
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)
