I have just downloaded Studio One as I thought for £60 it was worth a try. I have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i6 interface and so have the Scarlett Mix Control software.
I am really struggling to get my head around buffer sizes, ASIO buffer size, etc so that I can record with as little latency or zero latency if possible (which I understand the scarlett mix control allows). But, I think in playing around I'm changing too many things without knowing what they are.
Is someone able to offer some advise as to how best to set up the 18i6 with Studio One version 4 for optimum recording (i'll mainly just be using the two main inputs on the 18i6.

I saw that webpage but some of the settings on my pc didn't quite match theirs e.g. Device Block size doesn't go to 8 like on there...16 is the lowest and the input and output latency ended up reading higher too.
Im on Mac, so I dont use ASIO, if it helps in my S1 prefs my block size is 512 samples, drop protection is medium.
Device block size I se 128 fir recording and as high as possible for playback / mixing.
Any good?
