Vintage Gibson Les Paul case 1968

Very rare to find a 1960's Gibson case let alone one in great condition.

This case has been narrowed down to be a 1968 Black Beauty case (this one shows signs of being used for a Les Paul with a Bigsby due to the wear on the lid) or possibly a Gold Top if you didn't go for the rectangular case which was also an option.

A discussion on Vintage Gibson Facebook page narrows it down further to a very early 1968 case due to the Gibson star metal badge as was used in the late 50's and on early 60's Les Paul and SG cases. The yellow lining was soon to change to the purple type later in production.

Priced at £750 (there are some online at $1200 - $1300) or I would swap for a 1961 - 1963 Les Paul / SG case (pebble grain / same interior with slope and pad)

If you have a 60's Les Paul and you need a period correct case then this is the case for you!
