Call me impulsive, but after I'd made my mind up to move the Stingray on (sold within a day on eBay for a fair price for both of us) I started searching for a Jazz, to go with the P Bass that is currently being painted. Initially bid on a few of the Flea 60's J Basses, missed one due to some last minute bidding the only other one on there was after a premium price.
Found this beauty on Coda's website, ordered Monday and it arrived today. Inca Silver, bound neck with block inlays and 70s style pickups, looks and sounds great. The best part is I can record without weird clanking noises, huzzah! Managed to finish off a track that was missing bass since November in the space of about 30 mins

Blocks on a jazz is the correct course of action.
