Which is the quietest version of the EHX Small Stone?

I had one of these. One of the small ones. It was bloody noisy. I shifted it. Fancy another for my analog board. Are the older ones any quieter?

Keefe (Haberdasher over on Madbean) has done a PCB called the Space Harp that issues a lot of the Small Stone's problems. It'd got not vol drop (buffer on input, switchable if you want) and no screwing around when it's off (true bypass). It's a belter.

Indeed, here's one I made earlier:

....and here's another if you can't handle Spock on your pedalboard:

Still they (like the Maestro and Ross that share a similar topology) are not the quietest phasers. I have no issues with them in this form though.

The nano I have is very quiet. Does it sounds as good as a big box? No, it's better - no hiss.

Nano I had was quiet. I've lost track of where all my pedals went, it very may well be the one impmann has.

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
