Offering up this beauty to hopefully trade for a Gibson Les Paul although I would consider a straight sale.

Plays and sounds great but unfortunately it’s not scratching that itch I have for a LP.

Includes hard case as pictured and is in very good condition bar a few minors dings (see photos). None of which affect the awesomeness of this guitar. It's currently fitted with straplocks but the original strap buttons are included. Other than that it's completely stock.

As mentioned, I'd like to trade for a Gibson LP, preferably with a fattish neck, binding and humbuckers so standards, classics, traditionals etc.

Not prepared to post but I travel a fair bit for work and am based in Harwich, Essex. Occasionally travel as far as North Northumberland or Weymouth in the other direction. I will be in north wales in June/July.

Value-wise, I acquired this in a trade on here but I can't find the original sale thread. For my part, I traded a 65 Deluxe Reverb and a CP Jag so I'd estimate a trade value of approx £1300.

This was a really nice era for Jets but as you say, not a LP substitute at all. Very much it’s own vibe and sound. Good luck on the trade.

Full disclosure. Had someone look at the guitar this evening and whilst playing it we noticed a weird rattle when an F note is played. I couldn’t identify where it was coming from so I’m going to fit new strings, give it a set up etc and see if it fixes it. If not it’ll be going to a tech for a once over.

It had never done this before but if I’m going to sell something (especially at this price) I want to make sure it’s 100%.

Another update, it seems to not be an issue with the guitar but with my amp. However, I’ll keep it withdrawn until I’ve had time to properly check it out.

Apologies if this counts as multiple bumps but I just wanted to mention that I’ve traced the source of the noise. It was coming from a vibrating spring in the battery compartment of my Katana Mini.

So I’m happy to report it is not an issue with the guitar and is once again available.

Sorry for all the faff but ultimately, I didn’t want to sell the guitar if there was something wrong with it.
