Last year sometime I reported some problems with the tap tempo behaviour of the delays on the Boss GT-100. I wanted to enquire as to whether this has been fixed in the latest firmware?
I did a bunch of sound examples of the GT-100 compared to the Boss DD7. You can hear in the examples below that the GT-100 delays are a lot more pitchy, clicky, and overall poorer sounding versus the DD7. If it wasn't for this issue, I would be using the GT-100 in 4-cable method with my real guitar amp. But as it stands, it isn't really suitable for live performance because of this.

Apart from their excellent ability to double the price of the product they represent, it's hard to see any reason why they exist....
No reply when I e-mailed Hughes and Kettner for a Duotone schematic.
Framus make theirs available on their website, which is very helpful. (Take note H&K).
