    Squier Venus (Courtney Love model) - Crafted in Japan

    A rare guitar these days, I understand this was designed in conjunction with Hole's Courtney Love (she definitely played and endorsed it anyway), which is precisely why my wife bought one.  Crafted in Japan, it has humbucker/single coil combo, is electronically sound, intonates up and down the fretboard and action currently sits at around 1.5mm (it can go lower).  Despite its haggard looks, it has next to no fret-wear.  The pickup switch knob is missing.

    It's well used with a ton of dings and scratches around the body.  The neck has some minor indentations but nothing that really detracts from its very fun vibe.  There are also marks around the truss rod opening.  Basically, don't expect a showroom standard guitar, more a roadworn, slightly abused guitar that should (but sadly doesn't) smell of my wife's favourite cider and 'herbal remedy'.

    Bolt-on neck means it's easily postable, with the neck removed and sent as 'guitar parts'.  Just be prepared to reassemble it (four bolts, so hardly difficult).

    These routinely sell for considerably more than this, although it's been reduced due to its condition.
