Finally make it into the R&R Hall of Fame through the back door!
If we are not ashamed to think it, we should not be ashamed to say it.

Pah. They’re far bigger than RnR HoF. Absolutely seminal, like very few musical artists.

They were added in the musical influence category!

No Smiths, Pixies or Joy Division either. The game is rigged :)

Yeah, but the musical influence category at the Hall of Fame is for pre rock n roll era artists, so it was a fudge to fit them in.

You don't seriously believe that TRNRHOF has anything to do with musical merit?  :o

Joy Division / New Order were jointly inducted in 2005. I am surprised that they (or manager, Rob Gretton) did not turn the "award" down with a hail of pithy Northern obscenities.

Kraftwerk should have run their own dance music venue à la Haçienda. It could have been called Hütter's.
    Be seeing you.

Bloody sellouts, I've just burned my entire Joy Division collection, including albums signed by all band members.

New Order almost agreed to reworking Blue Monday for a Sunny Delight advert (or was it Kia-Ora?).
    Be seeing you.
