I'm not a big Rush fan but I like Spirit and it might win an award for the wordiest set of lyrics. I would have liked a cover version by Freddie Parrot Face Davies singing one likes to believe in the freedom of music but glittering prizes and endless compromises shatter the illusion of integrity and a raincoat to wear.

Oh Lord, why don't we?
The reason I don't think it qualifies is that the entire song is utterly cringeworthy, as was the video that went with it.

I can't believe that the composer of Eleanor Rigby and Maybe I'm Amazed could be allowed to churn out dross such as Mull of Kintyre and Silly Love Songs.
I believe that guitarist Adrian Vandenberg had to receive intensive medical treatment shortly after this tour: he was dieing of shame.
He had Mark King and Adrian Belew in the line-up, FFS!
a very sad song and a stark warning not to knock up some bird
