And another slimline lines/stripes one, cousin to the strawberry one. Goldfoil & 52 pickups, pear body, 7-piece top and 9-piece neck

Had a good lot of mod/service type things in lately with 9 due in but thankfully spread out, so not much building been going on but back on it very soon.

@monquixote's nicely battle-scarred Strat, routed & converted to HSH. I love that thing!
Also did a bit to a Bullet converting to string-through bridge and pickup swaps but pic fail on that one. That thing plays really well considering it's price.

Bill did an absolutely cracking job on these.

    Well recommended!

Another one of @guitarmangler's Lead II's, refretted with 6000 Evo gold and routed from 1PU with a new pickguard

Others include a brand new imported CS Strat with a pickup DOA... Dean Caddy, was never keen on these looking at pics but in meatworld it's very nice to play and well made. Also a Hagstrom Super Swede with a hefty ski-ramp at the neck join

Also been working on illuminated side markers (not retrofit) with a guitar builder mate, with adjustable brightness. I've taken apart one of my personal builds to be a smoking beagle for a full build trial.

A JM Jag in for a new colour & rebuild, was a bit scratched & dinked and been dropped fairly hard on it's rrse by the looks of it.

Always beats me why makers release a nice guitar and then cheap out somewhere on it, like the plastic nuts Gibson use and the collapsing bridge studs on the MiM Tele. It's work though so I shouldn't complain..

A work-in-progress, Adam's 60s Tele getting sorted and returning to what I believe was it's original colour. More on this later maybe, but -

    Before

    During

Still during... more details to be worked on with the wear and what have you

Strikes me that, just within our actively-posting members here, there's enough range of quality guitars being built (and re-built) to satisfy most of our GAS for the mid/top end market for pretty much all time.

Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

Nothing very exciting, just binned three of the brass shielding plates + glazier points that give partial shielding, fully shielded & linked all cavities instead, and changed the grounding to suit.

@TTony so many nice things being made, I wanna play them all. On which note hopefully will get over to you at some point and have a play.. and drool slightly over your CNC

    Always welcome Bill.

I may get over to you sometime too, just to torture myself looking at some of your work!!

Not like the mod we did on mine then...where you made the volume pot actually work ;)
