Two guitars for sale here....

PRS Private Stock McCarty in tiger eye with the most ridiculous flame top.  The board is Brazilian Rosewood and the neck is Indian Rosewood, so UK sales only I'm afraid.  Single Eagle on the board and is outlined in Sterling Silver.  The Eagle on the headstock is etched by hand.  McCarty pickups that are coil tapped.

Comes with the Private Stock case.  No certificate as that is still with the original owner who is well known but I haven't tried to contact him about it.  

Condition is amazing with only very light marks on the back.  A stunning thing and whilst its a big outlay, it was a whole heap more new.  I can take a quality part exchange and will work with you on a deal.  Electric or acoustic.

Strandberg Classic 6 Trem in graphite.  Super light and huge projection.  The endur neck is a revelation if you haven't used one before, very comfortable.  24 fanned frets.  This guitar is as new with all the paperwork, adjustment tools and padded gig bag.

    Can you get the certificate? It would make a big difference for buyers I’d have thought.

    Yes I guess it would but the price is reflective of that.  The original owner was featured in guitarist magazine, he had about 20 - 25 Private Stocks.

    I’ve got a private stock and it’s truly inspiring. It’s amazing to believe that they can be “better” than a core model.
    If you don’t mind me saying though, you need to make the effort to get the certificate. My private stock has Brazilian rosewood too and should I ever lose my senses and sell the guitar, that little bit of paper will allow me to. Without it, a shop cannot legally sell the guitar. If you know where the guy is, just get in contact and get it.

    I used to own this - I got it from Protone in trade about four years ago and sold it to a collector down South. 

    It ended up at Golders Green for about two years and I desperately tried to get it back off Patrick but he's a 'collector', so was two grand more than I sold it for - but sadly out of my league by a long way now. 

    It is absolutely stunning and was immaculate at the time.

    I'd go as far to say it's the best prs I have every played. Seriously!

    From memory.... 

    Indian rosewood - solid and not fat but just feels amazing. And I mean amazing. 

    The flame is just stunning, prob the best top I've seen on a prs or guitar for that matter. 

    Oh, and the inlay is Mammoth ivory, seriously!!


    Amazed yours selling this Si - good luck.
    It's an absolute beauty.

    Oh and Si is an absolute top bloke.

    Will consider full multiple (quality) trades on the Private Stock now.  A strong opportunity for someone who hasn't owned a guitar at this level.  I need working guitars I can gig.  I don't want to scratch this thing.
