    Ok… I’ll go first…

    5pts @Springywheel - really nice track
    3pts @stratman3142 - sounds very familiar… can’t quite place it ;)
    1pt @Habanero - straight out of a Tarantino movie…

    Big shout out to @snap and @kriszuki both excellent tracks but I thought the other fitted the brief better…

    top work chaps.

    5 points ; @Habanero ;;;; - I like this a lot, it has a nice lazy feel, and makes me want to go back in time to chill on a beach in the 50s.  Nice guitar tone too.

    3 points; @stratman3142 Nice take on Surfin With The Alien with a great medley in between

    1 point; @poopot ;;
    Amusing British interpretation of an american sub genre    Top job as usual.

    Likewise, the other tracks were great but these ones conform more to the surf genre

    5 points @Stratman3142 - pure surf!
    3 points @Habanero
    1 points @Springywheel ;

    All good to be fair, and the three above IMO had big surf vibes.

    Has anyone got a suggestion for an optional theme for the next composition challenge?

    Otherwise, I might go with music for a Sci Fi film or TV show.

    5 points : @poopot : A very witty take on the theme. Monster mash meets surf.
    3 points : @Springywheel : Catchy ideas. Good match to the theme. Could be the theme to a classic Cowboy TV show.
    1 point : @Habanero ;nero : Moody laid back track with classic surf sounds

    @Snap : Superb music and excellent sounds as usual. Lots of power and dynamics. Builds well. The most interesting and my favourite as a piece of music but, when forced to make a choice, I decided to go with how close the music matched theme.

    @kriszuki : A nice brave sparse track. More 'Greek' than 'Surf'.

    It's not a competition.

    I’d be up for doing something with a sci fi theme.

    Or for something more original, ethnic music....African tribal, shamanic, Middle Eastern etc.

    next theme sounds good any of the above I think.

    @stratman3142 re the track, thanks, tbh it was a bit of a struggle this one, couldn't get into the theme, not really a surf rock fan either!

    In case anyone didn't know, Nazare is in Portugal and is known for some of the biggest waves that have been surfed. I didn't know either

    I'm also wondering why @Springywheel 's track is called that? I'm guessing it's some quote???

    Just a silly working title ;p Another was ‘Jesus Stole My Corvette’ before I eventually settled on the more generic ‘Surfin’ The Foam.’ https://youtu.be/a6g7GfJLtcY

    hehe. The real inspiration behind that title is that the guy who used to sell me wacky baccy in my 'yoof' looked like the Lord Jesus himself, and  would often drive around in a classic american car - a 1969 Plymouth (not a corvette). This was Leicester circa 2006 so he didn't exactly blend in

    I had another idea for a theme...avante garde. Seeing as how everyone will have their own idea of what avante garde is, it may conjure up some interesting sounds. Otherwise I’m up for ethnic or sci fi...
