SOLD: Vigiers!! Excaliburs! Expert!
What's Hot
It's that time again!
I got too cocky and the other half has noticed the rapidly expanding collection, so I need to shrink it down to earn significant brownie points before the wedding at the end of October (when I fully intend on cashing in any and all acquired brownie points)
Collection preferred from Market Harborough (Leicestershire/Northamptonshire way)
Sorry to disappoint those hoping to find the newly purchased Shawn Lane Vigier tucked away in here, it's actually the Shawn Lane that's convinced me that I can part with the others. So lets dive in and first up we have a Vigier Excalibur Indus.

The tone has been replaced with an arcade style kill switch but the original control is included.
If you know Vigier then you know the spec: no truss rod, zero fret, mega high end quality. This one is no exception.
Original Vigier branded hardcase included here (hiscox I believe).

Bit more of a player's grade this one, it's not in bad shape by any means but it does have it's share of wear, tear, knocks, dinks, and a bit of fade in the finish on the bottom right. Don't let that discourage you though, it plays beautifully and the EMGs give it just a little more....just....more than the Indus. Neck pickup was switched out to an EMG 60 which balanced the tone just a little better. Don't have the original unfortunately.
Maple neck gives it a nice bite and snap over rosewood and this one has been refretted with stainless steel 6100 frets so nice and big chonksters!
I've tried to show you the wear on the neck in the last picture, just to give you an idea what you're dealing with.

Because of the condition, I'll let this one go for £1300
An expert retro '54 (or so I was told when I bought it...I honestly can't tell the difference between any of the Vigier expert range).
Condition sits somewhere between the Indus and the Excalibur EMG, I'd say it's in good shape but it has been gigged and has a few knocks to prove it. Particularly particular collectors looking for box fresh minters should probably keep scrolling, but most people looking for an excellent S type would be mighty happy with this.

£1450 on this one
It's a Washburn. It's was made in the USA. It was made using parts from the USA custom shop. It technically isn't a custom shop.
It is however a MONSTER player with a coil split and treble bleed circuit.
From what I can tell, this is part of the affectionately called "boneyard" series. When the USA custom shop closed, they took all the parts they had left and built guitars out of them...one of those being this one.
Great condition apart from a very small nick on the back of the headstock where I believe the string tree screw just poked its tip a little too far.

Call it £500 on this one? No idea where to put it.
Pretty sure we all know what these are, the fusion isn't getting used and I've decided I like teles so I'm going to spend significantly more on one.

£75 on the TE-52 SOLD!!
Both in excellent shape, no problems at all that I can see.
Something went squiffy on one of the Vigier Indus images during upload as well.
But the links SHOULD be fixed now!
what’s the collective noun for Vigier?
Completely awesome guitars by the way
A Vigier and a fusion?
Two vigiers?
Two vigiers and a Washburn?
(Gulp)....three vigiers?
Bump!
Someone must fancy an excellent guitar or three? Take advantage of my need for space to expand your collection and get rid of that ridiculously expensive guitar you never play...
