The neck is satin smooth and the binding is maple not plastic and is so comfortable (soft rounded edges).
Genuinely the best sounding guitar I have ever heard, ever. And the finest craftsmanship I have ever seen. This model received 10/10 in Guitarist magazine. The neck and bridge pickups can be split and sound superb. Neck profile is perfect. Weighs just over 7.5 pounds.
Its practically brand new. Mint.

I sanded the neck to ensure it is super smooth. The back-of-the-neck look might not be too everyone's tastes but it's made a huge difference in playability, a big improvement.
