I don't mind. I knew it was a dealer I was selling it to, and I know it's going to get resold. I expected nothing less. I got the price I asked (well, kind of) , It's not my business what he does with it. What annoys me a bit though is, I've not even had a "Thanks Mike, arrived safe and sound" message. It's quite stressful posting guitars, It would be nice.

If seeing dealers buying up guitars bothers you, get your hands in your pockets and spend some money. For example, I currently have what is essentially the best part of a four grand custom shop Tele listed at under two grand, and it's sat there all day!. You can't even buy a dog of a custom shop Fender any more for under two grand, and yet a top tier example sits. It's no wonder dealers come along and hoover them up.

Anyway, I have a forum regular and decent guy with first dibs im waiting to hear back from, before the dealer who is second in the queue gets it.

What can you do?, refuse sales?

I think you're right to hold off on selling to the dealer who is in the queue and a member on here. But agree if it doesn't sell then let them have it.

We went through a stage on here that dealers just sat on the forum and anything decent disappeared in seconds, appearing with a markup a day later. Which imho is not cricket but a sale is a sale.

Gold tele is awesome BTW. There is a 70% off ebay fees promo on atm - I'd suggest you out it on there and you'll sell it rapidly and for more than 2k

I thought dealers were not allowed on here. Who was it? Are they an active member in other topics?
