Totally loving the new Muse song, with a video which makes Matt Bellamy look even creepier than usual...
So thought "must learn this song" and it is apparently in "B standard" tuning, or can be played on a 7-string. The riffs mostly seem to require an open low B string.
As this is the Fretboard... an excuse to pick up a cheap 7-string? Not got such a thing as not normally a "metal" type (though I do like rather a lot of metal stuff, but not really ever gone to the level of wacky baritone tunings).
Anyone tried a cheap 7-string, Thomann have one for £122 that's an HB... or is it better to whack heavy strings on another guitar and tune it down to "B standard"...
BTW - I already know a lot of people here hate Muse... I love them though, and as a side note, helluva lot better as a first release off an album than sodding "Dig Down" was...
You are the dreamer, and the dream...

What kind...?
But Coldplay can "Fix You"?
It's a Lindo concept guitar.
Looks very similar to an Ibanez rg
TBH the capo 7 suggestion is a winner to date!
