Bowie recorded Toy over 20 years ago. It didn’t get an official release at the time but I obtained a bootleg rough mix during the first lockdown. The recent 3-CD version is something else!
All but one of the songs are re-works of his pre-success 60s numbers and they show just how brilliant his songwriting was even then.
