Hoping someone knows or can point in the right direction.

I am looking for the type of 4 conductor wire that Gibson use , not the braided stuff, the grey jacket with 4 conductors.

That's the stuff @Jonathangus - bulk quantities.

Spent hours on various electronic websites and it's bit of a minefield because the photos/product descriptions are all too generic.

I was guessing you were going to say that; unfortunately that's stuff I've had kicking around for years, so can't help with a stockist.
