An impending house purchase forces sale. I sold this once before and regretted it but I can't realistically keep it this time. It's a genuine 60 year old Gibson es at a Murphy Lab price.

Neck: Original although there’s been a headstock repair. The front and back of the headstock have been refinished. Typlical ’62 profile. Wide nut, original frets, nibs still intact.

Body: Mickey Mouse Ears, decent condition, original finish. Lots of lacquer checking. Originally a Bigsby guitar but stoptail holes are original(would have had a 'custom made' plate).

Tuners: repro

Harness: repro with mono varitone.

Pickups: purple wire patent sticker plus vintage surrounds. Covers are repro. Out of phase in middle position. I’ll pull the pickups and take more pics.

Bridge: Looks vintage. I’ll pull and take more pics.

Tailpiece: This is a stoptail for a junior. Not sure if it’s an original or a repro.

Case: Hiscox

£7000. Collection only from Glasgow.

Love a 345, they're definitely my favourite semi Gibson

    Glwts sir
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Still half heartedly selling this. Might be interested in a lightweight CS tele as a partial trade.
