So, added the Towner B6 Bigsby and a Vibramate spoiler to my ES-335 the other night. Pretty straight forward to fit, even for someone like me. Got the spoiler for ‘ease’ of string change initially but I’ll try it without too.

Also got some locking Grovers courtesy of our own @west (thank you sir!) and the black buttons look cool and feel really nice.

Slight concern that the strings seem at a bit of an angle running up to the bridge. I nudged the spoiler a little which helped. Perhaps the strap button isn’t quite centred properly?! Tuning stability seems pretty alright though so maybe it’s no biggie?

Angle looks fine, it's often not dead centred.

Nice one. I did the same a few years ago.

B3 and B6 are always better than B7 - very well done!

FWIW yours looks better aligned than the one on my ES-330 and mine has given me no issues after 18 months of regular use.

    Thanks

That’s good to know yours has held up. I’m only using it for subtle chordal stuff and the odd bit of faux rockabilly so I’m sure it’ll be good.
