Sold Xotic XSC-1 £1600 Looking for a PJE 96, preferably my old one.
FS / FT Xotic XSC 1 in Sea foam green medium aged. £1600, this is as low as I can go.
No neck twists, no dead notes, no neck damage that I can see or feel, just saying as I’ve been asked why it has been turned around so quickly.
This is a collection only guitar so you will see it, be able to examine it, fall under its spell and judge for yourself.
I purchased it knowing I wouldn’t keep it as I just prefer HH rather than SSS. When I saw it I had to take it, lovely fat neck and that colour….wow.
It looks more like the vid in real life, a little greener than my pics.
12” radius, lovely low easy action.
Modern C neck profile, nice and chunky.
Locking tuners.
Roasted flamed maple neck.
Medium ageing, dings, wear and weather checking.
50’s pickups.
Alder body.
Hard case and all documents.
Collect from Congleton Cheshire or meet for a PJE trade.

Also been asked if there’s anything wrong with the guitar as it’s a quick turnaround.
Nothing wrong, I’m just a guitar idiot, a superb guitar, I’ve had a few Xotic’s and they’ve all been really stiff to play (in my opinion), this one isn’t or I’d have left it.
I’ve been looking for a Suhr modern or even my old HH Eggle 96 as I’m not a single coil fan. I saw this and I had to go and see it in person as I love the colour, knew it wasn’t for me but had to have it….know the feeling?
It plays low and light, looks amazing, clean sounds are amazing but I rarely play clean and the single coils with high gain just aren’t doing it for me.
The neck is really chunky, another reason why I took it, no slim 60’s profile here, I’ve purchased a Fasttrack 1 pickup for the bridge but I’m hesitating as I’m trying to turn it into something it isn’t so as yet it’s unmolested. First to see it will buy it.
