Or if you are @digitalscream better hosting possibilities?
What’s the new provider’s resilience and SLA like for fixing any issues? What experience have you had of the existing provider?
Good when it works, but unreliable. I've got 60 down and 30up at the moment and it's rock solid stable. That's more important for me.

I was considering running tFB from one of my servers here at home, but decided against it after a couple of power cuts. Still, I've got near-gigabit broadband here, and it's bloody good - I've never had less than 800Mbit/s, and streaming 4k video to multiple devices simultaneously is a breeze. It also helps enormously with large downloads, obviously, and if you're a gamer...2ms ping is realistic.
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.
Earlier this year a local alternative provider (Trooli) started advertising FTTP from 600 - 900 Meg download. I needn't have got excited, they decided not to serve my estate of 38 houses due to poor state of the subsurface ducting (Openreach told them it was shit).
Openreach themselves are planning to roll out FTTP within 3 years...but they've told me that my street isn't on the list....
I suspect there's 1000s like me who'll miss out on the investment whilst a myriad of providers run in cables to serve the same potential customer base...
Gigaclear is in our village and performance is patchy.
Support isn’t great.
We stayed on Zen which is 250down and 30 up but it almost never drops, support is brilliant.

I've never needed support other than to increase my bandwidth which was a lot more hassle that it should have been considering I wanted to give them more money.
Could probably move to another provider for lower download speed (M200 is 200mpbs) as I don't need it that fast (its good though). Zen are supposed to be good and reliable but the best they do is 32 mpbs download and 16 upload I think. I would like the buffer of a bit more as other people in the house use the internet too.
I have 2.8 (down) and our road is scheduled to get 'high speed internet' sometime between July and December 2024.
The speed we have works for forums, Google, YouTube videos etc but nothing much else.
