1997 Westerly USA Guild Bluesbird in Amber

  • Flame maple top
  • Vintage white/cream top binding
  • Bound  fretboard /w block inlays 
  • Chambered body (guitar weighs 8lbs)
  • PRS McCarty neck & bridge PU (upgraded at some point from the original SD 59’s they shipped with, which I don’t have) 
  • Original Guild case 

The condition of the guitar is very good for a 25yr old guitar, but it has been played and well loved over the years. There are two professionally filled screw holes where a pickguard was once fitted, one on the front and one on the upper bout (see pictures). There is also some fairly minor buckle rash as well that I tried to get across in a picture as well.

Collection in Bo’ness or I may be willing to travel to meet around Scotland/the North of England. I’d also be willing to pack it very securely and ship at cost

    Yeah, it definitely is! Setup more for jazz now with flats but would be perfect for blues

    Edited the post with some history I was able to dig up about the Bluesbird. Crazy to think, adjusted for inflation these retailed for over $3000 in their time
