SOLD: Epiphone Les Paul Modern £380 inc hardcase
Starting to have a little clear out as I'm not really playing much electric at the moment.
Epiphone Les Paul Modern in Faded Pelham Blue - this was my first foray into the Les Paul shape, and I have to say I think it's a fantastic guitar for the price. Really comfy asymmetric neck shape and ebony fingerboard, chambered mahogany body with a maple cap and a lovely sparkly finish. The pickups make it incredibly versatile, and the single coil sounds are actually really good - it's no strat, but you can get some real spank/tele esque sounds. Think of it as a poor mans DGT
Also has locking machine heads and a nice body cutaway at the neck join for those wanted to channel their inner Slash.
Neck pickup is a ProBucker-2 with Coil Splitting via volume pot push/pull
Bridge pickup is a ProBucker-3 with Coil Splitting via volume pot push/pull
Pickups can be phase switched by the tone pot push/pull
It has been gigged, but well looked after, and there are no knocks or dings, but there is some patina on the pickup covers, and some light swirling (not quite bucklerash) on the back, but I can't photograph it effectively.
Comes with hard case. I have swapped the knobs for the black version as I think they look better, but I still have the clear ones that it came with.
Looking for £380 ono. Based in North Devon but can travel within reason to meet/deliver.
