Fretless, vintage, Kent, Vinyl....
This is an original Kent/Hagstrom plastic topped (refinished with Hammerite) and vinyl backed body mated to a Gibson scale luthier built fretless ebony neck.
It does all sorts of atmospheric staccato clunk, vibey double stops and buzzy Hindustani Arabic licks.
The neck has position and "fret" markers in maple, a medium U shape is mafe of lovely flamed maple and ebony.
Both pickups work, (neck sounds particularly nice) and each has an on off switch. There is a switcheable piezo pickup connected to the tone switch for lofi buzz. The 4th switch in unconnected and the volume pot has been replaced and the plastic top shielded. Note: switches are old and crackly but generally work.
£275 collected from W/S Central London & can post for £25

What's the bit between the pickups? A speaker?
Open tuning simplifies some chord shapes to a one-finger barre. Lift a couple more fingers on and off for related chords - much like Open G Keef rivvum style.
Playing the ascending progression from Led Zeppelin's Kashmir in fretless DADGAD sounds like an oud.
