WTB: Eric Johnson Stratocaster

I've discovered this year that probably my favourite neck profile I've ever tried is the late 50s 'soft V' Strat neck. However, I much prefer flatter radius rosewood fingerboards and V-shaped necks seem to come almost exclusively with vintage-correct maple fingerboards.

The Eric Johnson Strat with the bound rosewood fingerboard seems to be one of the very few exceptions to that rule. Added bonus is that it comes in some pretty jazzy colours - especially the Tropical Turquoise.

Anyone got one going spare that they could be persuaded to part with?

These are the only strats I've ever really loved to play. Suppose it was the neck that got me too.

I remember almost pulling the trigger on a used on here years back for £850. I really should have.

One went for £950 or something here last month. It was a bit battered, though.

Funny how tastes differ. I think bound fingerboards on strats or teles look awful

Yes it's seen that one, but it's not that far off the price of a new one, with some rather iffy looking damage to the headstock. Will give it a miss a think!
