WTB Gibson CS … R9 or SG

What's Hot
Sold off surplus guitars to fund one of these two.
TPS episode this week was interesting and probably confirms my SG leaning although my neck dive 2002 standard makes me wary of body hang.
Prices are skyrocketing this year though and I’m avoiding a £6K one!
My strat is lonely and needs a humbucker friend.

Any advice?

Probably should travel and play some but difficult for me to commit this time.

thanks
jon

  • Would definitely advise going and playing some, you have to find the one for you.

On neck dive for SG - my 64 doesn’t. The joy of having a lump of metal on the body!

    Hi Jon.
+1 for the '64 Murphy. Stellar guitars, great neck profile, no diving. More than welcome to try mine if you're down this way.
    Best, Paul. ;-)  @Jonhosker
